Dave Barry is a genius.

He writes a great, wonderful, hilarious, weekly column for the Miami Herald. You can read it online here! On the web site, you can read three months of Dave Barry's column goodness. Unfortunately, the archives are no longer available, so after three months, columns will not be available to read on the web site. :(

Dave Barry's last column for at least a year was published on January 2, 2005. He is taking a sabbatical of indefinite length.

There is a complete list of Dave's books on his web site

Dave Barry owns a Fender Stratocaster guitar that was played by Bruce Springsteen (specific song: "Gloria"). Dave Barry also plays lead guitar in a mostly-author rock band called The Rock Bottom Remainders, which also features Mitch Albom, Kathi Goldmark, James McBride, Stephen King, Ridley Pearson, Amy Tan, Greg Iles, and Matt Groening. This band sometimes performs a song written by Dave Barry called "The Tupperware Blues," believed to be the only blues song ever written exclusively about the benefits of Tupperware.
